How much do you REALLY know about translation? Join us for a light-hearted quiz on all things translational! Teams of two to four players will be organized at the start of the event, and will compete for prizes and bragging rights. Libations will be available to stimulate the memory cells!

Bill Johnston's awards include the 2012 Best Translated Book Award and PEN Translation Prize for WiesBaw Mysliwski's Stone Upon Stone, and the 2016 Found in Translation Award for Tomasz Rócycki's Twelve Stations. His most recent translation is Julia Fiedorczuk's Oxygen (Zephyr Press, 2017). His translation of Adam Mickiewicz's epic poem Pan Tadeusz will be published by Archipelago Books in 2018.

This program is co-presented by the American Literary Translators Association.
