C. T. Jasper (Christian Tomaszewski) was born in 1971 in Gdansk and divides his time between New York and Ulaanbaatar. He works across different media, concentrating principally on video and digital interventions in already existing film works. Jasper's most recent projects include Erased (2013)exhibited at the Warsaw Gallery Le Guern and The Standard in Los Angelesand Sunset of the Pharaohs, presented at Frieze Focus14 in New York. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in North America and Europe such as the SculptureCenter and The Bronx Museum, New York; the Centre for Contemporary Art Zamek Ujazdowski, Warsaw; Atlas Sztuki, Lodz; Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Venice; the National Gallery, Prague; Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten, (a joint project with Ilya Kabakov) and Kunstmuseum Chemnitz, and Kunstforum Ostdeutsche Galerie, Germany.
